About us
A local installer that designs, fits and looks after its systems
Who we are
Openhouse Renewables is a heat pump design and installation business based in Borth, Ceredigion. We work across Aberystwyth, Machynlleth and the surrounding area.
We cover the whole life of a system: design, installation, commissioning and monitoring. That means the people who design your heating are the ones who fit it, set it up and come back to check it.
Our experience is deepest in Samsung and Vaillant heat pumps and in the wet heating systems they run, from single houses to larger cascade installations.
How we like to work
- Straight answers, including when a heat pump isn't the right choice yet
- Numbers you can see: heat loss, flow temperatures and expected efficiency
- Installations finished properly, down to sealed pipe entries and labelled circuits
- Work to MCS standards and Building Regulations, with full paperwork at handover
- Aftercare that checks the system is doing what the design said it would
